I like very much LA Guns from the final 80's and inicial 90's. The two reunion albuns in this century are not so good, but have some great stuff. The rest is not bad but is very different from the original band.
But, for me Cinderella are right to do the pact. If one don't go no one does anything with the name's band. I prefer less albuns than hundreads of versions of the same band.
See what happens with Queensriche. It is true that was in court but i agree with the decision. Operation Mindcrime for one side and the remain Queensriche legacy for the other. Nice for everyone and clear for the fans. Bravo.
Perhaps the logic with L.A. Guns should be the same. Cock and louded for one side and L.A. Guns for the other. Or the old Hollywood Roses name, who knows. To much L.A. guns versions and the sensations that in each one of them something is lost.
The music is never bad. The work is ever interesting but concerts and albuns are just a mess, with one or two original members and the rest, musicians that much of the times no one knows national speaking. Crazy stuff man, and not a cool carma after all.
Tracii Guns and Phill Lewis are great musicians. But also Cripps, Riley, Nickels and even Adam Hamilton who play bass in the band (2001/2007), and it is proved that the classic line up is better in a group with 35 diferent members, Man, almoust 3 dozen from 1983 to 2016.
I have albums from all LA Guns re-encarnations. I like always the music and videos. I never see them in concert but live it is good. Probably i will buy also this one with no problems. But, in real i prefer that old L.A. Guns. Man, what four albuns. what a 5 guys band. Missed them all. And that is the real truth.
